But why the Action Bag?

The sport of cycling is growing on an annual basis. Talk to any bicycle shop owner, and they will tell you that young and old are trying out cycling as a sport. Both Mountain Biking and Road Riding are very popular in South Africa, perhaps because of the beautiful country that we live in.

Different people have different reasons for starting cycling. 

When you do road riding, you have most of the time access to roads anywhere, depending on where you stay. Mountain Bikers, on the other hand, often have to travel to different destinations. 

We love to try different trails every weekend if the weather allows it. 

With that in mind, we need to travel with our bikes and our gear, and let’s face it, both Road Riders and Mountain Bikers have a lot of essential equipment.  As “Roadie” and Mountain Biker, I often found myself in situations where I forgot some basic gear. 

Just putting gear into the car did not work, and for some unexplained reason, I lost a reasonably good cycling computer, a proper search was done, and the whole car was searched for this computer….it is still missing. 

The idea of a PRACTICAL, Cycling Specific bag then started to occupy my mind. With the help of a specialised local manufacturer, we then designed and developed the Action Bag.  We “brainstormed” different scenarios and decided on the current design(s). Yes, watch this space, as we will continue to develop practical bags for cyclist.
